Xinhua News Media Office - (HKG)

This project aims to take a fresh look without traces of traditional Chinese style for the Xinhua media office. In order to create a more welcoming area, an open plan is used. Zoning has been divided through glass walls keeping the space visually open. The combination of light, shadows and transparency brings different shapes and silhouettes to this dynamic and minimalist space. We attempt to diversify the splendid Victoria Harbour view over its surroundings and incorporate it within the office. The black chalk magnetic pillars contrast beautifully with the glass panels, adding a sense of warmth and fun.
